Mulled Wine is a cozy, spiced and warming drink typically enjoyed during the colder months, especially around the holidays. It's a traditional beverage in many cultures, especially in Europe, where it’s known by various names, such as Glühwein in Germany and Vin Chaud in France. The drink is made by heating red wine with a mixture of spices, citrus, and sweeteners, creating a rich, aromatic concoction perfect for winter festivities.
Simmer 3 cups water with, sugar, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and lemon peel in a stainless steel pot for 10 minutes. Add wine heat to a "coffee temperature" (DO NOT BOIL) then add the brandy.
